There’s no better time than now to reflect on your life! Have your prayers involved any of the following:

  • Simplify

  • Staycation

  • Get some projects done

  • Stay home to avoid the commute

  • More time to spend with your family

Tis the time to praise Him! Your prayers have been answered! We know He doesn’t always answer our prayers when & how we had imagined but He does listen. It’s like … your cup is half-full … everything happens for a reason … making lemonade when you’re given lemons.

We must be aware of lifestyle changes and what we need to do to keep COVID-19 from spreading by educating ourselves and being responsible for our actions. This virus hits the throat and leaves a thick mucus in the airway and into the lungs. Some tips:

  1. Drink hot liquids - coffee, tea, soup, water. Take a sip of warm water every 20 minutes.

  2. Gargle with lemon or salt water.

  3. Virus attaches to clothes & hair. As soon as you get home take a shower and wash your clothes.

  4. Wash metallic surfaces - can last up to 9 days. Wash handrails and door handles.

  5. Don’t smoke.

  6. Wash hands every 20 minutes using a foaming soap.

  7. Eat fruits and vegetables.

  8. Animals are not passing on the virus. It’s human to human.

  9. Avoid getting the common flu.

  10. Any discomfort in your throat follow 1 & 2.

Honestly … I’m tired of hearing about Coronavirus and assume you are too.

Pivot

Psalm 91.PNG

Mind Set. Perspective. Belief. Strength. Faith. Determination.

I woke to a beautiful blue-sky day! What about you?

  • What brings you joy when you look out the window?

  • What makes you carry-on through the obstacles?

  • What is your favorite verse?

  • Your commitment level to getting it done?

Knowing you and how you respond really does make a difference. I see it in my life – even though my Life Coaching business is not where I’d like it to be, I can’t let it go. I believe in it, what it can do for women and a vision that won’t go away.

Unlike some things … do you know my past? I’ve worn many different career hats and one of them came to mind when my daughter Jessica and I were watching TV. One of my favorite shows is FBI (the one with Missy Peregrym from Rookie Blue) and we were watching a marathon of them. The show features the nerve center of the office where the agents get updates and do research and it’s always full of action. Suddenly I said “no wonder I love this show … I used to work for the FBI!!” My time with the Sacramento office was nothing like the show and for some reason, I never connected the dots.

We never know where life will take us but hang on for the ride! Each experience is a learning experience and through it, we come out stronger on the other side. Or at least some knowledge that we can share with others to help them out when they wonder why they are going through a tough time.

As a coach, I love to open up possibilities that you never thought of before … pivot in the middle of a situation … challenge you to give you courage … So YOU can be the best version of YOU right where you are.

Growing up my sister and I loved Mad Libs! Here is one for you to discover something new about YOU!

Go ahead and play along!
