Survival time is here!!! The mad dash from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. As with anything having a plan will serve you well.

A
DREAM
Written down with a date becomes a
GOAL
A goal broken down into steps becomes a
PLAN
A Plan backed by
ACTION
Makes your dream a
REALITY

First things first…Thanksgiving! Take time to reflect on your gratitude or grateful list. It’s good for your soul to think about all those little blessings and give thanks. Here in Northern California with the history making Carr Fire & Camp Fire so many homes, lives, and way of life has been turned upside down with so much loss. Look outside, around, up, down…find what warms your heart and fills you with joy.

Enjoy the meal, time around the table, being with loved ones. Life is short, learn to cherish the moment. Help out with clean-up! Many hands make light work. Then get outside and take a walk, play with the dogs, or take a group photo for your Christmas cards.

Shopping time! Do you have your gift list ready? Go through the newspapers or internet and take notes for your items. Toys and electronics are priced right for Black Friday deals. I miss those 5:00 am Black Friday adventures – Were you a true die-hard shopper? Go and do what you are comfortable doing and tackle that list!

Small Business Saturday is the perfect time to support your local small businesses and your friends who sell Avon, Color Street, DoTerra or Young Living, Rodan and Fields, LipSense, Norwex or H20 at Home, Scentsy, cabi, and so many other great products.

Enjoy Sunday preparing your mind and soul by visiting your favorite place of worship. The hustle and bustle of Christmas is just around the corner.

Double check your gift list one more time…for Cyber Monday. Another chance to find those items at the best deal. I don’t know if they really are The.Best.Deal.Ever. but if you have the opportunity and you know what you are looking for why not give it a try!

Don’t you love the Pinterest Nailed It vs Failed It photos??? You find the photo that inspires you…get your craft or bake supplies together and then go to work creating. TADA…The big reveal…but your creation looks nothing like the photo?!?! Expectations vs Reality is real folks! Sometimes it’s in the art of the craft, not enough practice or not planning out the whole process. Planning out your weekend will help make it a reality in your life and not just in your mind.

When planning your weekend be honest with yourself. Keep it within what is possible for you so you don’t get overwhelmed, frustrated or stressed out. It’s the beginning of the Christmas season so find what works for you, motivates you, and keeps you moving to marking off those items on your gift list!

The Four Gift Rule has been popping up on FaceBook the last couple of years. Use it as an inspiration and tweak it anyway you like to fit the people on your gift list.

  1. Something they want

  2. Something they need

  3. Something to wear

  4. Something to read
